A Little More Demolition

Even as the construction team begins to rebuild there will almost always be something that has to be demolished or torn up in order to rebuild.

The back property behind the kitchen is a busy area as water pipes continue to be laid underground.

Remember this new fire hydrant from a previous post?

Abbracadabra..........it's gone!!  Well, it's only temporary.  Since we use two lanes of traffic in the parking lot during dismissal the hydrant was temporarily removed so that we would still be able to accommodate all of the vehicles.  It will be re-installed when the new parking lot is completed.  And yes, it will be on a concrete median.

Demolition continues on the two classrooms closest to the parking lot.

The front corner of the wall has a portion of the wall that juts out past the windows.  It is referred to as a wing wall.  Removing the wing wall will also require removing a portion of the roof and a section of the top of the outside wall.

With more debris comes more work using the SkyTrak.
