The Front Classrooms

Work on the front hallway classrooms is moving right along.  Changes are more obvious to the untrained eye. Tile should be going down in the classrooms within a week or so.  If everything stays on schedule, some classes should be able to move into the new hallway during the winter break.

A chute allows debris from the roof to land in the dumpster.

The front hallway has a very new look as most of the brick is finished.  The roof will be completed and finishing touches needed to be added to the building.

Masoners work on the end of the hallway that faces Mary Queen.

Finally, the brick has made its way around to the back of the hallway.

Worker Justin has the tedious job of scraping 50+ year old glue from the brick walls that was used to hold up chalkboards.  When this is finished, then............

....you see men in white.  These men have the fun job of ................

...applying paint to the walls!!  This really makes a difference in the room.  It appears much larger now that the room is reflecting more light.

The embellishments that are above each door have been covered with drywall and are awaiting paint.

Wiring has been added to the classrooms.

Site Superintendent Darran has a smile on his face at the end of a very long day.  How could he not be happy?  Getting to coordinate this work with the CME staff is such a joy!!

When asked how he felt about working at CME, Worker Josh responded, "This is the best jobsite I've ever been on."
